Sarah Bialek

Sarah Bialek is the Engaged Classrooms and Evaluation Specialist for Engaging Schools. She leads the development and implementation of Engaged Classrooms services and oversees the evaluation of our programs and their impact in schools and districts. She also provides services in two other areas: Codes of Character, Conduct, and Support and Advisory Plus. Prior to her work at Engaging Schools, Sarah devoted a decade to teaching science in culturally and economically diverse urban schools in Denver, was a middle and high school advisor, and spent a year as an assistant principal working with students, teachers, and parents around school discipline issues. She supported Denver Public Schools observing teacher instruction and offering feedback for improvement. Sarah is a co-author of the Engaging Schools publication, Engaged Classrooms: The Art and Craft of Reaching and Teaching All Learners. She earned an M.Ed. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in School Leadership, and a B.A. in Environmental Science from the University of Colorado.
