Transforming Bias in Classrooms and Schools - Two Day Workshop

Professional Development

CES is hosting a 2-day session focused on transforming bias in classrooms and schools for CES employees and our member districts. We will conduct a thorough and self-reflective examination of how unconscious bias shows up in our daily-lives and will then engage in a collaborative, creative, and concrete exploration of ways to build anti-bias frameworks into: classroom instruction; classroom culture; family and community engagement; and teacher leadership.

We recommend that schools send teams to this workshop.

Audience and Grade Level

Teachers, Administrators, Paraprofessionals and CES Employees; Grades K-12

12 PDPs will be awarded to participants upon completion of these two days of training, in addition to outside assignments (as per DESE regulations).

Future training dates will be announced here. If you have questions or are interested in offering this training on-site, please contact us.
