Arielle​ Jennings is the Massachusetts Executive Director of Generation Citizen, a nonprofit that supports Action Civics education in schools. Arielle has been working to promote service-learning and civic engagement for ten years as a teacher, curriculum designer and teacher trainer. She ​earned her master’s degree in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from The George Washington University. Arielle has since worked in ​K-12 ​schools and universities promoting youth voice and civic action ​both domestically and in the UK. Arielle served on ESE’s Massachusetts Civic Learning and Engagement Taskforce and represents Generation Citizen on the MA Civic Learning Coalition. She believes that our schools have the responsibility to fulfill their civic mission and teach young people how to be lifelong civic actors. Arielle is originally from Massachusetts.
