Participate in an engaging and informative day exploring the skills and dispositions for mentors that will lead to a successful mentoring program.

Topics covered include: DESE regulations; working with adult learners; characteristics of a first year teacher; norms of collaboration; differentiated mentoring; the collaborative coaching cycle (planning, observation, and reflection); dimension of success in order to get results; and exploration of mentoring rubrics.

Audience and Grade Level

Teachers, Principals/Assistant Principals, Superintendents/Assistant Superintendents, PreK - 12.

Credits

Certificate of Attendance, 5.5 hours.
