I think we can all agree that despite all we know about behavior and trauma sensitive schools, the behaviors and attitudes about learning seen in today's classrooms have changed. Since we experienced the "pandemic disruption of 2020", our classroom management protocols are being seriously challenged and more and more students are requiring out of the classroom behavioral interventions.
In this workshop, we will shift the perspective in an effort to recreate protocols and interventions that will result in a new culture of positive outcomes for everyone in the classroom. This is the time to build new understandings about learning, cooperation and atmospheres of compassion, peace and success.
How will you create change in your classroom? Come and be a part of a solution focused conversation.
This is a fully online workshop with 7 hours of direct instruction and 3 hours of asynchronous time to work on a project with instructor consultation.
10 PDPs can be earned upon attending the full session and completing a final project outlining how you will include the learned techniques in your classroom management and SEL curriculum.
