The Deputy Director of the Collaborative for Educational Services (CES), in conjunction with the Executive Director and support from the Cabinet, will be responsible for leading a variety of existing programs and practices. The Deputy Director will also direct the development of new innovative practices and programs that will expand our portfolio of work to better serve schools, districts, educators, parents and community partners. These practices and programs will also respond to state and federal initiatives and will be attractive to a diversity of funders.

The Deputy Director will specifically supervise the Program Managers in our direct services (Special Education, Early Childhood, After School, and Youth Pathways). The Collaborative for Educational Services is looking for a Nurse to provide/maintain comprehensive health services to CES special education summer programs at HEC Academy and in a local public school.  Experience working with youth (grades 8-12) with a variety of learning needs and social/emotional/behavioral challenges preferred.  Coverage would include providing routine nursing care to students during the school day and on field trips, maintaining student health records, and administering prescription and non-prescription medications.  Position to start July 10th for summer program coverage and will end August 11th.
