With a background in Elementary and Special Education, Peggy spent many years working with children who were labeled as having an inability to learn and function in a regular classroom. Because of her labels, she was allowed to go to college on a disability grant and was accepted on probation. After graduating from college, she has spent over 40 years telling young people to not let anyone tell them that they cannot learn or achieve what they desire in life.

Because of the amazing results she had with children thought to be behind in their emotional and educational abilities, Peggy was asked to speak at teachers' conventions and Parent &Teacher Associations on how to motivate children, not only to learn, but to excel without being put on medication.

After moving East, Peggy enrolled in Education with Insight through the Fitzgerald Institute and became a Master Trainer. She does parent coaching as well as teacher trainings. As a parenting and family coach, she works with parents helping them to understand who their child is. She uses the research-based DISC Assessment. Once parents understand the temperament of their child, Peggy works with them on how to communicate, motivate, and discipline their child in a way that creates an environment where the child can flourish and become the best version of who he/she is.

As a trainer of teachers and caregivers, she works with professionals in helping them to understand how to meet the unique needs of the children in their classroom by understanding different temperaments and learning how to communicate, teach and motivate their students according to their temperament style. The result is that environments are created where each child feels emotionally safe, honored and supported so he/she can thrive and grow socially, emotionally and cognitively.
