Customized On-Site Professional Development

Our consultant/trainers can help you to assess needs in your school or district, and will tailor a program of training, coaching and consultation to meet those needs. Training sessions are typically designed for up to 20 participants, in order to allow participants in these hands-on sessions enough access to the facilitators.

Among the content areas we can adapt and tailor for your time frames, audiences, and specific needs:

G Suite (Google Apps) for Education - Wherever your district, schools, or educators are on the Google continuum, from basic to advanced, we can create a tailored program of training and coaching to optimize your launch or ongoing implementation of G Suite.

Digital Learning - We offer consulting, training and guidance to enhance understanding of instructional design principles for online learning, and can assist you in planning and developing your own online learning; and developing digital citizenship skills.

Educational Equity and Personalized Learning Institute - The Educational Equity and Personalized Learning Institute is being created in a partnership between the Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) and Assabet Valley Collaborative (AVC), and will empower K-12 educators across the Commonwealth to create equity-based, inclusive schools, reducing opportunity gaps through technology-enhanced personalized learning.

Makerspaces: Where Learning = Doing -  What is a makerspace? How can you create one in your school or district? How can you leverage a makerspace to increase student and community engagement in your school? We offer services to support schools in integrating Makerspace-related philosophy and practice into classrooms.

Technology Administration and Implementation - CES will consult with your district to help you with your technology planning and audits, integration of instructional technology, device planning and implementation, and overall technology project management.

CTO Certification Study Group - This hybrid-online course blends online content, activities, and discussion with a few face-to-face or synchronous sessions and is designed for Technology Directors preparing to take CoSN’s CETL Certification Exam.

Education Data Use – CES provides tailored on-site professional development for educators and data teams, and technical assistance for data management and analysis, and data-driven decision making.
