Children of migrant farm workers lose vital education services amid funding freeze

SPRINGFIELD —Nine-year-old Ery Perez Gutierrez focused last summer on sharpening his academic skills at Boland Elementary School, under a program that provides additional education to the children of migrant farm and fishery workers.
