Mark Jackson, M.Ed. was a middle school principal for 10 years and a high school principal for 16, leading both urban and diverse suburban schools in New Jersey and Massachusetts with a focus on advancing the interests of low-income and students of color. His professional commitment is to ensure that schools fulfill their historic mission of improving the life chances of all students. As an experienced administrator, his primary interests are in supporting capacity building among administrators and school-based teams to effect significant school improvement. With CES, Mark serves as a coach and mentor for both individual leaders and leadership teams.
Mark’s current focus as an Educational Leadership Consultant is to leverage his experience to establish and support the growth of new and early career building administrators and their school-based teams. Over the last four years, he has mentored building administrators at all three levels.
