Kelly Brown

Kelly Brown is an educator and advocate, dedicated to empowering families of children with disabilities. She holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College, a Master’s in Special Education from Lesley University, and has completed coursework towards a doctoral degree in Early Childhood Education at UMass Boston. Currently, Kelly works as the Family and Community Engagement Specialist at the Easthampton Family Center and  an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at UMass Amherst. Kelly’s professional journey includes a decade as an early interventionist in Central and Western Massachusetts, where she supported children and families in the critical early years. She has presented at both national and local conferences on topics related to early childhood special education and early intervention, sharing strategies that bridge research, practice, and family experience. Her passion lies in helping families navigate systems, access resources, and become confident advocates for their children. Kelly lives in Easthampton with her husband, their three children and their rescue dog, Bruce.
