Tom is a father, teacher, coach, and equity wonk. He holds an M.Ed., doctoral coursework in Leadership and Learning in Organizations at Vanderbilt, and licensure as a Principal and Superintendent in Massachusetts. At CES, Tom works alongside the Joy & Justice team to provide equity-focused consulting, organizational development, and professional learning for K-12 schools, youth justice programs, and alternative education settings across Massachusetts and beyond. He brings twenty-five years of experience spanning classroom teaching, instructional coaching, and graduate education in curriculum, pedagogy, and special education. Tom’s students will tell you he often says that schools can be places where every adult and child fully belongs. He has been saying that for a long time. He still means it.
