Educator Evaluation

Educator Evaluation and Measures of Student Growth

In June of 2011, the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education adopted new regulations for the evaluation of Massachusetts educators.

With decades of experience providing professional development, coaching, and consultation on program implementation, curriculum mapping, and data analysis, CES understands the challenges educators and administrators face and we offer expertise in supporting district efforts to meet those challenges. CES is a state-approved provider for Massachusetts Educator Evaluation System training.

To support your work in Educator Evaluation and Measuring Student Growth we provide the following services:

Professional Development and Trainings

We offer training for teachers and teacher leaders, administrators, evaluators, school committee members, and anyone involved in school or district implementation of the Massachusetts Model System for Educator Evaluation.

Trainings are offered as part of CES' Professional Development schedule, and can also be brought on-site by request.

Ask us about creating your own customized Expanded Evaluator Training Program, combining the required training with additional material on implementation and observations to meet your school or district's unique needs in just 18 hours.

Customized Technical Assistance

To leverage the work you are already doing, we will help you develop a plan that integrates the evaluation system with work in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. District priorities can be integrated into training sessions through the use of exemplars and illustrations that address what matters most to the district. Contact us to learn more.
