DYS Instructional Guides
These Instructional Guides are a resource for both new and veteran teachers that were developed to support the planning of high-quality curricula, instruction, and assessment for students in the care of the Department of Youth Services. Aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and the Common Core State Standards, these guides are a resource that use a positive youth development approach in presenting best teaching practices that encourage students' development of a strong sense of voice and self-advocacy as they plan for their futures.
