The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is seeking an exceptional and collaborative leader for the position of Director of Human Resources who will report to the Executive Director and serve on the CES Cabinet.  The HR Director will develop and implement process improvements which support positive change as part of an organizational effort to create a more diverse and engaged workforce. Additionally, this individual will supervise a department of five talented HR professionals.

CES is an educational service agency that employs approximately 800 individuals across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts serving students and educators in the PreK-12 education environment. We are most proud of our core commitments to social justice, diversity, equity and inclusion for everyone we serve as well as within the agency.

This high profile position requires strong communication skills. It is essential that this individual is able to create and sustain productive partnerships with internal, as well as external stakeholders. The HR Director will champion the organization’s efforts to create a respectful, inclusive, diverse and welcoming work environment, thus she/he/they must lead by example through a presence that engenders trust, confidence and respect.

Terms of Employment:

  • Full-time, exempt position, 40 hours/week
  • Salary range: $94,000 – $109,000, commensurate with experience

Benefits: CES offers a comprehensive package including: Health, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, and voluntary Short Term Disability, enhanced Vision and additional Life Insurance. Health Insurance is offered through Harvard Pilgrim with multiple plan options, including a PPO with a self-funded Health Savings Account, and an HMO with a Health Reimbursement Account funded by CES to support a portion of health insurance deductions.  FSA and Dependent Care accounts are available. Eligible for MA State Retirement or Massachusetts Teachers Retirement System (MTRS).
