Description

Participants in this workshop will use representations to link concepts to the procedures we use to solve problems involving fractions. Emphasis will be placed on using student reflection and discussion to further student learning. Participants will come out of this workshop with effective strategies to use with students for whom understanding fractions is a challenge.

Audience and Grade Level

Teachers of Mathematics, Grades K-8.
