From Practice to Presentation: Turning Your Expertise into an Effective Workshop

Summer Academy

Description

Every teacher holds the seed for a meaningful presentation. Nurturing that seed of an idea and presenting it successfully requires careful attention to a set of effective practices. In session one, participants learn the practices specific to presenting and identify a topic around which they’ll build a mini-presentation. Session Two provides the opportunity to present on that selected topic to a small group of peers, receive feedback in a nurturing environment, and add more effective practices to one’s presentation toolbox.
