Description

This full-day training will provide participants with all the tools needed to bring the Medal of Honor Character Development Program into the classroom. This flexible, cross-curricular resource, which uses the oral histories of Medal of Honor recipients, focuses on how students can use these examples of courage, commitment, sacrifice, integrity, citizenship and patriotism to influence change in their own communities. 

Educators attending this training will:

  • Receive reimbursement for any substitute costs (upon submission of an invoice)
  • Receive the full curriculum kit at no cost
  • Participate in model lessons
  • Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and lunch
  • Learn best practices for their classrooms
