Marti Wiechman, M.Ed. is a Child and Parent Educator and Playgroup leader for CFCE at the Collaborative for Educational Services. Marti earned a Bachelor's degree in Special Education with a minor in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Wyoming, and a Master's degree in Young Children with Special Needs from Westfield State University.
Her career has included teaching and consulting in a variety of public and private Early Childhood Education programs. Marti has used her knowledge of American Sign Language and alternative communication strategies to support children in finding their voice and learning to self regulate. In addition, she supports parents and caregivers in learning positive behavior strategies and co-regulation skills.
