Emerging America
Graduate Credits:

Join us for this pilot online training, and explore new K-5 "click and play" historical investigations based on the new Social Studies Framework.

Veteran educators Laurie Risler and Kelley Brown will lead K-5 educators through:

  • an introduction to the material via online webinars
  • testing out one History Mystery in your grade level (three 20-40 minute click-and-play investigations)
  • providing written feedback
  • participating in a feedback focus group (via online webinar)

All curriculum materials are included. *Lessons include a clickable presentation that leads teachers and students through an inquiry activity aligned to 2018 standards. Handouts and other materials are provided through a printable PDF.

*Spring 2020 curriculum will include practice standards lessons and 6 History's Mysteries units, one per grade level, each fully addressing a topic in the new standards for that grade. Future additions to History's Mysteries curriculum provided at no charge.
