Engaging ELL Famillies in School

Professional Development

Participants will gain strategies for engaging families of ELLs in their child's academic success in school events. Teachers will receive a $40 stipend for attending the 2-hour workshop.

Participants must be from one of the following Title III Grant Partner Districts: Adams-Cheshire Regional School District; Amherst-Pelham Regional School District; Belchertown Public Schools;  Berkshire Hills Regional School District; Central Berkshire Regional School District; Easthampton Public Schools; Frontier Regional and Union 38 School District; Granby Public Schools; Greenfield Public Schools; Hadley Public Schools; Hampshire Regional School District; Lenox Public Schools; Mount Greylock Regional School District; Northampton Public Schools; Ralph C Mahar Regional School District; South Hadley Public Schools; Southern Berkshire Regional School District; and Ware Public School District.

Certificate of Attendance, 2 hours.

Audience

Teachers, administrators, social workers, counselors and others interested in engaging families of ELLs in school; Grades K-12. Please note that this workshop is for Title III Grant Partner Districts only
