Creating a Flipped Classroom for Better Learning

Summer Academy
Offered by:
Professional Development

Description

Flipping the classroom began by having students watch video lessons at home and then return to school to do their "homework" in class. Our discussions will include other aspects of blended learning, what can work and what may not, what is comfortable or uncomfortable for the teacher, as well as hands-on activities to define structure and identify where video may fit best into the curriculum. Finally, we will create some video lessons for our flipped classes.

Participants must bring a laptop and/or a tablet.
