This workshop will focus on strategies for successfully including children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in community and public school settings.  How can you structure the environment and daily schedule to facilitate successful inclusion?  What teaching strategies have a proven track record for fostering learning by children with ASD?  How can peers help model language and social skills in a natural way?  It is expected that participants already have basic knowledge of ASD and are interested in learning more about best practices for working with children.

This session addresses Massachusetts Core Competency 5: Learning Environments and Implementing Curriculum.
