The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is seeks energetic, out-of-the-box thinkers, who are currently educators, or end route to becoming educators to be Activity Leaders at the Easthampton Enrichment After School Program (EEASP) at Maple Elementary Public School.  These individuals will teach one hour classes not typically available during the school day, be prepared to accommodate all learners, and participate in other areas of the daily program. Each session (there are four) runs 8 weeks, throughout the school year, Monday-Friday, 2:30-5:30. There is one late arrival staff position, 4-5:30, Monday-Thursday. The EEASP follows the Easthampton School District calendar for half days/school closed dates. 

We are interested in hearing from you, if you can create project based, academically sound curricula (underscored by evident Math, Science and ELA Practices) and have worked effectively with children to encourage ownership, creativity and academic growth. Candidate must make a commitment September 17, 2018 - May 17, 2019. This requirement is absolute, and the backbone of our successful program!

Our program offers students 3-4 unique classes each day, 5 days a week. Major disciplines include: Fine Art/Craft, Active Movement (including Cooperative Games, Yoga, All Sports, Martial Arts, Parkour) Science Experiments, Engineering, Theatre, Dance, Nature Study, Self Discovery, etc. Classes are subject to teacher interpretation and invention! Candidate must be able to lift supply containers, stand for long periods, have a sense of humor, and play recess games.

The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is seeking experienced, energetic After School Activity Leaders to teach educational enrichment activities within our After School programs. These part-time positions require working collaboratively with the site coordinator and other program staff, while providing social-emotional and academic support to students. These individuals will assist with the planning, development and implementation of project based, enrichment activities. Our ideal candidates will be quick to adapt to changing programmatic needs, while maintaining composure and a positive attitude.  After School Programs typically begin in early September and end mid-May to early June. When applying, candidates will need to indicate where they would like to work. Programs located in: Amherst, Palmer, Easthampton, Southampton, Greenfield, West Springfield, Granby, and Sheffield.
