COVID-19 Update

CES and our host agencies are committed to ensuring the safety and health of staff, students, stakeholders, and our community. We are closely tracking updates and recommendations issued by DESE, EEC, MDPH and the CDC.

Professional Development 

CES Professional Development workshops are currently being held fully online for the summer, and PD for Fall 2021 will be held primarily online with certain sections of workshops meeting face-to-face. Please click here for current offerings.

Licensure Programs

Face-to-face meetings will be held virtually for the summer semester and primarily face-to-face for Fall. Fall 2021 Licensure courses are currently open for registration.

Early Childhood Department

CFCE Puzzle of Parenting Workshops will resume in Fall 2021. Our offerings will be listed here as well as on your CFCE community's Facebook page.

Playgroup and Familly Centers  are providing learning and enrichment experiences outdoors in-person, and virtually. Please contact your coordinators or refer to our Playgroup calendar for details.

After School and 21st Century Learning Programs

CES After School and 21st Century Learning programs are hard at work developing virtual enrichment activities for our students, to take place during the same hours as their traditional after school programming. We've been polling families to identify their ability to access virtual activities, and identify where assistance may be needed. Occupational Therapy Center (OTC)

OTC has re-opened for in person therapy services with clients who are able to comply with COVID-19 precautions. The Center also continues to provide a variety of remote therapy services including video-based sessions for direct OT, remote consultation for parents/caregivers, and teachers (via video, phone, or email), and phone/video consult for new clients following paperwork and chart review. For up to date information, call 413.588.5279 or email otc@collaborative.org

Center for Assistive Technology (CCATT)

The CCATT Center is currently closed for physical visits to the center, but consultation, direct instruction in the use of assistive technology tools, and professional development opportunities are being provided remotely. Requests for direct, in-person services will be discussed with the referring district, and decisions will be made on an individual basis. Literacy Center

The Literacy Center is currently closed for physical visits to the center, but engaging, interactive, structured literacy tutoring, consultation, and professional development are being provided remotely. Requests for direct, in-person services will be discussed with the referring district, and decisions will be made on an individual basis.
