Leading in the 21st Century:
Empowering Leaders to Empower Teachers
Are staff meetings causing more problems than they solve? Are meetings immbolizing, rather than motivating? School and district leaders know well the challenge of overcoming organizational culture that is resistant to change. The Collaborative's Promethean trainings combine technology with effective meeting management strategies to help school and district leaders foster broad participation and creative approaches to problem-solving in staff meetings. When everyone has a voice, leaders are better able to initiate change and collective decision-making among staff. Promethean trainings can be customised based on the needs of your district.
After School Program Design and Implementation
The Collaborative offers coaching and consultation to design, plan, and implement a comprehensive after school program. Design consultation can include strategies to promote specific outcomes and goals for target populations, development of systems that integrate the school day with after school, diversified enrichment activities that embed academic content as they build students' resiliency, and effective homework centers and MCAS tutoring.
School Council Training
Consultation services are available to school councils and the principals who work with them. The purpose of the consultation is to help councils and principals understand the legal obligations, limitations, and opportunities for councils, and to assist principals with understanding how to staff a committee.
