Description

"Growth mindset"--basically the feeling of, "I can"--has taken the field of education by storm. While it is a very important factor of sustained academic success, it can easily be misused and misunderstood. This 2-session training will examine: the neurophysiological foundation of growth mindset; the full definition of growth mindset; research on the efficacy of growth mindset; the importance of belief in growth mindset; the dos-and-don'ts of establishing growth mindset; the use of questions in fostering a growth mindset. Participants will leave the training able to start establishing a culture of growth mindset in their classrooms.
