Support for parents of infants, toddlers and preschoolers
Raising children is hard work. In today's fast-paced world, parents struggle to balance their own needs, the needs of their children, work responsibilities, and many other issues and stressors. Parent coaching is designed to empower parents and help families develop practical solutions to childrearing challenges.
ParentCoach is for any parent who has concerns, questions, or is looking for parenting support. After all, "It takes a village to raise a child."
Is Parent Coaching right for you? It is, if you....
- are looking for a new, more effective approach for responding to your children's behavior
- want to improve communication with your child's preschool or childcare program
- are a new parent looking for support
- don't understand why your children behave the way they do
- have trouble setting limits and boundaries for your children
- feel frustrated in your role as a parent
- need useful, expert advice to address concerns about your infant, toddler, or preschool child
- are seeking a referral for an evaluation(speech, fine motor, sensory, psychological, etc.) or counseling for your child

- listen carefully and non-judgmentally to your concerns
- identify and build upon the strengths in your family
- provide age-appropriate information on child development
- offer strategies and suggestions to help you respond more effectively to your child's behaviors
